Echo Media offers a network of newspaper billing statements in a multitude of major markets in the United States. Advertisers’ pre-printed inserts ride along with invoices that are mailed via First Class directly to newspaper subscribers. By reaching consumers in their homes, and with the value of an important bill and a high opening rate, advertisers can target this select demographic of highly educated, affluent adults. Typically, each statement allots space for only one or two advertisers, resulting in more visibility and less clutter. Additionally, newspapers do not require advertisers to customize their billing statement inserts with certain disclaimers or additional codes, simplifying the clearance and approval process. Since newspaper billing statements are geographically defined by the newspaper in a particular market, advertisers can elect to test on a market basis.
